Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 July 2026
Sandula connects you with restaurants and food stalls in The Gambia, and with the riders who bring their food to your door. By using Sandula you agree to these terms.
Your account
- You need an account to order. Keep it to yourself — you are responsible for what happens on it.
- Give us a phone number that works. The rider needs to reach you, and your delivery code is how you confirm the handover.
Orders
- When you place an order, the restaurant decides whether to accept it.
- You can cancel while the order is still pending, accepted, being prepared or waiting for a rider. Once a rider has picked it up, you cannot cancel it in the app — contact support.
- Prices and delivery fees are shown before you confirm. What you see is what you pay.
Payment
You can pay cash on delivery, or with Wave, QMoney or Africell Money. If you pay cash, have the amount ready for the rider.
The food
The restaurant makes the food and is responsible for it. If something is wrong with your order, report it in the app and we will look into it.
Behaviour
Riders and restaurant staff are people doing their job. Abuse, threats or harassment — in the chat or at the door — will get your account closed.
Chat
The in-app chat exists so you and the rider never have to share personal phone numbers. Messages are moderated to keep everyone safe.
Closing your account
You can stop using Sandula at any time. We can close an account that breaks these terms.
